Cleansers
A gel cleanser is the best facial cleanser to use and will provide you with a deep follicular cleansing leaving your skin feeling fresh and soft. You are best advised to avoid any cream cleanser as it will leave a thin layer on your face which can worsen your oily skin problems. Avoid using soaps that are not designed for your oily skin as they tend to leave your skin dry. You should also consider washing your skin no more than twice a day.

Clay Masks
Clay masks are great for oily skin as they do not only soak up all the dirt and grease but will also unclog pores. It is recommended that you use a clay mask at least once a week to minimize the appearance of pores.  Ensure that the mask does not dry completely to the point it starts to flake, this will draw all the moisture out of your skin causing dehydration and irritation. Then once a week use an exfoliated scrub to remove the dead skin cells as well as the oil and dirt that accumulate on your skin. The granules within the scrub are effective in clearing large pores when gently massage into your skin. Choose a product that containing Alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) which
will help reduce the amount of oil produced by your skin. Try a natural mask as well see Pumpkin seed Mask.

Toners
Use non-alcohol toner which will be less irritating on your oily skin. The toner will help moisturize your skin after each wash and are effective in deep pore cleansing, making pores appear much smaller. An acne prone skin will benefit from a daily toner which will leave your skin smooth and dry.

Moisturizers

Moisturizing your skin will help reduce sebum production and give your skin a better texture. A light weight non-comedogenic and oil free moisturizer will increase the water content in your skin and prevent further moisture loss when infused with natural humectants. At least once a day use a moisturizer with natural fruit acids which will not only smoothens your skin but also aid with skin cell turnover. You can use to keep your skin looking fresh include add moisturizer to your sunscreen and avoid long hot baths as well as any harsh products which will dry out your skin.
